The Columbia Falls Youth Softball Association is accepting late sign-ups for girls in grades K-4. Registration forms are available online at www.wildkatsoftball.org or by contacting Kathy Price at 253-3775.
B-ball tourney
The first ever “Wildcat Classic” boys and girls varsity basketball tournament is scheduled for July 20 and 21 at Columbia Falls High School. The tourney is open to teams from across Western Montana. Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
