The girls had better luck against Stevensville the same day, winning 5-2. The Kats had two singles victories, including firsts for Courtney Seward, who beat Fernanda Cleria, 6-1, 6-0, and Olivia Lewis-Peterson, who beat Jennifer Harthan 6-1, 6-1.

In No. 1 doubles, Kats coach Jerry Smalley mixed up his lineup and paired Emma Covill and Emily Getts. They beat Rachel Coyle and Katelin Hancock, 6-1, 6-1.

The boys also competed against the Yellowjackets, but scores were not available.

The teams travel to Libby on Friday to wrap up the regular season.

The divisional tournament is May16-18 in Kalispell.
