Quality schools and well educated young adults they nurture, train and inspire are the backbone of our community, indeed our country. The businesses we most want in our community and the jobs we most want for our children and grandchildren depend significantly culture of our community and education is a critical part of that culture. A commitment to quality education attracts and retains stable businesses, encourages innovation and new businesses and encourages the community’s young people to stay and build toward an even better future.

Tom Hearn, who is running for the school board in Zone 5, has the vision, integrity and commitment to make District 271’s schools the best they can and should be. Tom is fair, thoughtful, experienced and dedicated. He has demonstrated this in his personal, professional and public life and will bring these qualities to the school board.

Tom Hearn on the school board will mean a better education for students and a brighter future for our community.

I urge everyone to vote Tom Hearn for school board.
