On May 21 there will be an election in Kootenai County. For the first time, the Board of Trustees of Kootenai Health, Coeur d'Alene's outstanding general hospital, is on the ballot, resulting in an unnecessary amount of politicization of this election. KH has grown enormously in the past few years, and will continue to grow and remain financially viable into the future, with the right kind of governance. Specifically, this hospital needs people who have ties with the community, and expertise in financial matters. The Board already has three physicians in place and does not need to add a fourth physician to this seven member board.

Liese Razzeto has served on the KH Board of Trustees for seven years, and in addition is the Area President of Wells Fargo Bank in Coeur d'Alene. She is hands down the best qualified candidate for this position (which by the way is unpaid and requires a significant amount of time).

There is not a single person who is more suited for this slot on the KH Board of Trustees. I urge everyone, regardless of party affiliation (which should be irrelevant) to vote for Liese Razzeto.
