Two from Quincy hurt in rollover

MOSES LAKE - A woman and a man from Quincy were injured on May 5, according to the Washington State Patrol, in a DUI-related rollover on highway 17 about 13 miles north of Moses Lake.

There were only two people in the vehicle. According to the State patrol, alcohol or drugs were involved.

The driver of the 1994 Nissan Stanza was Rene J. Villegas, 24, of Quincy. Her passenger was Kenny Watkins, 24, of Quincy. The State patrol reported as unknown whether they were wearing their seatbelts.

Villegas and Watkins were transported by ambulance to Columbia Basin Hospital. The vehicle was totaled and removed by Randy's Towing.

According to the WSP, the Nissan was northbound on 17 when it left the roadway to the right. It made one full roll and came to rest on its wheels.
