SCHOOLS: No interview, no job
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 11 years, 8 months AGO
On May 21 we are given the privilege of choosing who will be serving on our school board. A vote for Christa Hazel, Dave Eubanks, and Tom Hearn is a vote for a positive and caring future for our district’s children while a vote for their opponents is a vote for closing doors for opportunity and dreams. We don’t want people on the school board who care more about themselves and self-promotion of a secular ideology than getting the best education for our children. Ann and Bjorn didn’t show up for a “job interview” when they had their chance. When was the last time you hired someone that didn’t show up for a job interview? Never.
Throughout this run-up to the election, we have heard Christa, Tom, and Dave talk about working with all sides for the betterment of the district, while their opponents want to pull up the drawbridge and close the Citadel to anyone else with a differing thought process. Teach the kids how to think, not what to think.
