Today the Coeur d'Alene Rambling Rovers, a travel club for seniors 50 years of age and older, has reached the quarter-century mark. During its first 25 years, membership has tripled from 50 to 150.

Over the years, members have taken charter trips to such places as New Zealand, Ireland and Greece, to name only a few of their destinations. The veteran travelers have also explored the national parks of the western United States.

Not to be overlooked, however, are the many local excursions the group has made to museums, theaters, festivals and baseball games.

The Rambling Rovers are currently headquartered at Bestland Senior Living. Monthly luncheon meetings are held at the Best Western Coeur d'Alene on the third Thursday of each month. Lunch is $14.50 and reservations are required the previous Monday.

For more information, call Ruth Fanshier at 664-0435 or 765-4554

Happy Silver Anniversary, Ramblers.
