MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake police are looking for two white males who assaulted a teenage boy on South Grand Drive in Moses Lake Friday.
According to police reports, a 17-year-old boy, of Moses Lake, told police he was "jumped" by two unknown suspects about 9:30 p.m. in the 800 block of South Grand Drive.
The victim reportedly had a pocket knife with him and yelled at the two subjects to back off or he would stab them. The two suspects allegedly continued to attack the victim, who then swung the knife at the suspects, possibly cutting one of them, according to reports.
The two suspects fled in a blue four-door passenger car, according to police records.
Officers also notified Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake to contact them if a male stabbing victim arrived for treatment.
The suspects are described as white males, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, according to reports. One of the suspects reportedly has long dark hair.
Officers are continuing to investigate the assault and no arrests have been made. Officers have obtained the first names of the two possible suspects, according to Capt. Dave Sands. It is not clear if the victim knew the suspects.
