SCHOOLS: Pick the best people

I have been privileged to have lived in the Hayden Lake and Post Falls areas for 20 years and have been privileged to have voted in every election since my arrival. No election to date has piqued my interest as much as the May 21, 2013 election for the Post Falls School Board because of Political Action Committee (PAC) involvement.

I firmly believe that non-partisan elections should remain just that … non-partisan. I have always tried to pick the best person for the job, no matter what the elected post has been. My vote has always been non-partisan, and will remain so, for all school boards, hospital, fire district, etc. positions. Having said that, I have reviewed the background and stated qualifications for all candidates running for Post Falls School District positions and believe that only two truly have the interests of the District and most important, the students at heart without trying for a political power play. My support and my vote go with enthusiasm for incumbent Julie Hunt and (past trustee) Dave Paul because they have the experience, the education, and the heart to do a great job. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone voting in the Post Falls School District to follow my lead to keep partisan politics out of their choice for the best possible person for the job. Please vote on May 21, 2013.
