Bernice May Clark, 82, “was taken by the hand of the Lord and led to eternal peace” on May 16, 2013.

She was born Feb. 20, 1931, in Whitefish.

She married her lifelong love, Duane Clark. Together they raised six children, which in turn led to 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Clark Sr.; sons, Danny and Duane Jr.; granddaughter, Tina May Foss; great-granddaughter, Felicia Foss; great-grandson, Brendan Seward; and her siblings, Helen Aurand, LeRoy and Garland Stevens.

Bernice is survived by her son Dale Clark of Lake Blaine, daughter Mary Jane Foss of Olney, Ruby Foss of Columbia Falls, and Emily Williams of Kalispell, as well as a myriad extended family. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22 for Bernice at Austin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
