Roby Moreland of Pittsboro, N.C., works with a 4-year-old quarterhorse gelding named Boone at McGinnis Meadows Cattle and Guest Ranch in Libby. The ranch offers horsemen and women the opportunity to learn the Buck Brannaman style of horsemanship. Brannaman inspired the character for the movie "The Horse Whisperer" by Nicholas Evans.
