Betty J. Jensen of Coulee City passed away May 10, 2013 due to complications of Dementia. Born on June 27, 1930 to Dick and Viola (Nutt) Pierpoint in Coulee City, she was the third oldest of 13 children. Betty married her high school sweetheart, Otto Jensen, on April 8, 1948.

Surrounded by her loving family, Betty passed away peacefully at NorFlor Adult Family Home in Olympia, Washington.

Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Otto; her five children, Jenifer (Kirk) of Clarkston, Jon (Karen), Jim and Janie all of Olympia and Jerry (Debbie) of La Center; seven sisters and two brothers; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Devoting her life to her family, Betty loved to crochet afghans and always loved to have family and friends around. She will always be remembered for her fresh baked cinnamon rolls.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Donna and Dixie and a baby brother. A memorial will be held at a later date and internment will be at the Highlands Cemetery.
