Monday, May 13

6:13 p.m. A man and woman were apprehended after attempting to steal a stack of movies valued at $100 from a store on U.S. 93 South.

8:01 p.m. A boy reportedly smashed the window of an excavator at a work site on Colorado Avenue. The boy was arrested and his mother was called to pick him up.

Tuesday, May 14

10:05 a.m. A woman who was recently fired reportedly sent a text message to the business owner threatening to punch her in the face. The woman later apologized for her behavior.

Wednesday, May 15

12:26 p.m. A woman alleged her ex-fiance pushed her into a door at a home on Spokane Avenue.

8:26 p.m. A man was arrested after causing a disturbance at an apartment building on Idaho Avenue. The intoxicated man was reportedly yelling from a deck and threatening to kill children and African Americans.

Thursday, May 16

12:13 p.m. A man wearing a plaid shirt and carrying a skateboard was talking about drug money at a bar downtown. He was asking people if they had marijuana.

12:52 p.m. A chainsaw and leaf blower were reported stolen from a carport on Somers Avenue.

3:01 p.m. A beagle dog was stuck in a ditch off Wisconsin Avenue.

4:27 p.m. A man on Denver Street in a plaid shirt with a skateboard was reportedly threatening a man and flipping him off every day. The skateboarder allegedly told the man, “I’m just trying to sell some weed.”

5:46 p.m. An intoxicated man was seen cutting down a soccer net at a city park. The man said the net was unsafe for his child.

8:55 p.m. A driver in a Mercedes got into a woman’s face at a gas station on U.S. 93 West.

11:47 p.m. A man allegedly hit a woman on Spokane Avenue. The woman was heard screaming, “help me” then honked a horn. The woman told police it was only a verbal argument and that she didn’t want her boyfriend to drink and drive.

Friday, May 17

1 a.m. An intoxicated woman at a store on Baker Avenue allegedly hit a customer in the face twice.

1:27 a.m. A moped was stolen from Spokane Avenue.

7:57 a.m. Someone threw a rock through the rear window of a truck parked on Wisconsin Avenue.

6:47 p.m. A man on Central Avenue was advised not to leave his horse tied up and unattended.

Saturday, May 18

12:30 a.m. An intoxicated man was lying on the side of Dakota Avenue.

1:43 a.m. An intoxicated man was gathering himself on Central Avenue. He said he would continue on when he felt better.

1:55 a.m. A man lying on the Baker Avenue sidewalk said he was sobering up before going home.

2:26 a.m. Two men in button-up shirts followed two women home from the bar.

2:54 a.m. A BNSF employee reported an intoxicated man who was sitting on a train engine.

3:02 a.m. A couple of men in a hot tub were being rude toward guests and staff at a lodge on U.S. 93 West.

2:39 p.m. A cell phone was reported stolen from a pizza shop on East 2nd Street.

Sunday, May 19

11:38 a.m. A shoplifter was arrested on U.S. 93 South.

11:58 a.m. A large caliber gun shot was heard on East 7th Street.
