Grad party

The Columbia Falls Class of 2013 parent committee needs to get permission slips from all seniors by Tuesday, May 28, in order to attend the graduation party. Forms can be found at the high school office, on the high school Web page or by calling Kathy Price at 892-1162.

Nursing grads

Four Columbia Falls students graduated from the practical nursing program at Flathead Valley Community College on May 17. They are Laura Burgi, Jenica Kelly, Kelly Palmer and Alison Smith.

Dean’s list

Two Columbia Falls students were named to the dean’s list at Crown College, in Saint Bonifacius, Minn. — Lucas Baumann, a intercultural studies major, and Shane Johnson, a English education major. To be eligible for the dean’s List, students must have a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

College graduate

Jeffrey Huth, of Columbia Falls, graduated from Nichols College, in Dudley, Mass., with a bachelor of science degree in business administration in criminal justice management. A total of 412 students received degrees there on May 11.
