Twins win four games in two doubleheaders

The Glacier Twins won four games last week in two doubleheaders. On May 18, the A team beat the Bitterroot Bucs 14-1 and 2-1. The previous day they beat the Salmon, Idaho, Savages 7-2 and 19-6.

Jayce Fagerland, of Columbia Falls, had two hits in both games for the Twins.

Against Bitterroot, Columbia Falls’ Zach Darling had a triple in the first game and three RBIs. In the second game, Colton Gove, of Columbia Falls, had two of the Twin’s three hits.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
