The Coeur d'Alene Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors was presented the Gold Chapter Excellence Award for 2012 this week at the annual National Awards Banquet in Washington, D.C. The Coeur d'Alene chapter currently has 39 members working to create business opportunities, develop skills for the future and to achieve their individual potential for success.

Numerica offers free shred day on June 1
In today's economy, Idaho residents need to be even more careful with their personal information and wary of the threat of identity theft. Coeur d'Alene area residents can learn how to reduce their likelihood of becoming identity theft victims and shred sensitive documents at no charge on Saturday, June 1. Consumers and small businesses are invited to bring sensitive documents needing destroyed to Numerica Credit Union's Coeur d'Alene branch located at 465 W. Bosanko Ave.
Western Records Destruction will provide shredding from 9 a.m. to noon or until the truck is full, whichever comes first. In order to accommodate as many people as possible, there is a limit of three grocery bags or two file boxes per person.
Numerica staff will be on hand to answer questions and share valuable information about preventing identity theft, the safety and security of credit unions, and the strength of Numerica's portfolio of low-interest loan products and high-dividend savings options.
