The public is invited to a "Community Conversation" at 5:30 tonight to hear preliminary options regarding the Bryan Elementary School renovation. Bryan is one of the five schools scheduled for renovation through passage of the $32.7 million school bond last August.

Architects from Longwell + Trapp and school district administrators will lead a community discussion on the proposed architectural design plans.

The "Community Conversation" will be informal in nature, similar to the school board "Community Chats" the district hosts throughout the year and the earlier design meetings for Sorensen Magnet School, Canfield Middle School and Winton Elementary School.

It is anticipated the Bryan project will go out for construction bid in August with construction occurring during the 2013/14 school year.

The event will take place in the Bryan Elementary gym, 802 Harrison Ave.
