Message was written more for believers

Ron Vieselmeyer's "My Turn" article in The Press, May 15, 2013, stirred up some people who apparently are not Bible believers. However, I think Ron's message was written more for believers.
People are divided mainly into three groups: 1) those who believe the Bible to be God's holy, infallible word, 2) those who do not, and 3) those who are unsure. Mr. Vieselmeyer stated three great Bible truths: 1) we are all sinners (there are saved sinners and unsaved sinners), 2) heterosexuality is God's plan for male and female, and 3) homosexuality is sin and sexual perversion. God has the right to say what goes, what is sin and what is not because He created the world and everything in it. He is Sovereign God and rules His creation. The trouble is many people today do not believe the Bible and do not want to know truth or hear about sin. Thus there will always be divisions concerning the Bible.
I too, believe children of our day are getting mixed messages about themselves and God. By many parents and teachers, children are told there is no God, mankind is like the animals, they are in control of their own lives, they can make their own decisions of what to do and will not have to give account someday for their actions. The Bible informs us differently. There is a God who made mankind a special creation and He loves them dearly (which is why Jesus came to earth - John 3:16), God has authority and control over all His creation, everyone needs His help to know what is right and do right - and there will be a judgment day!
Believers are directed by God to "take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). Prior to this, God states "everyone who is sexually immoral or impure or who is covetous (that is an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God" (Ephesians 5:5). Sad to say, some Christians are living immoral, impure and idolatrous lives and many are not exposing the unfruitful works of darkness as commanded.
I think the above is the message Mr. Vieselmeyer was trying to get across in his article. I agree with him that Christians need to "stand up, speak out, and openly live the truth." That is why I am writing this letter. And may God and Jesus be honored.
WHY AMERICA, WHY?
Why did you turn from the good and the true
Just when you had so much going for you?
Why clothe yourself in cheap garments of sin
Priding yourself on how great you have been?
You've led many children to the brink of despair
By saying God's dead, that He does not care.
You've hindered those young, dear, precious souls
From gaining God's blessings and worthwhile goals.
Why think it is wrong to yield and submit
Thus causing some marriages to fail and to split?
And why must your women be equal to man
Unwilling to take their right place in God's plan?
Like Rome you will fall, it's your ultimate fate
Unless you get back to what once made you great.
Why not reverse the sad trend of the times -
Get back to the Bible and lessen your crimes?
Why not, America, why not?
