WHS graduation Saturday at Majestic Arena

113 seniors will graduate with the Whitefish High School Class of 2013 on Saturday, June 1 at Majestic Valley Arena.

Commencement ceremonies for the Whitefish High School class of 2013 will take place Saturday, June 1.

Due to ongoing construction work on the high school gymnasium, the ceremony has been moved to Majestic Valley Arena. Graduation begins at 1 p.m.

There are 113 seniors graduating this year. In recognition of their academic achievement, students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above will wear an honor medallion. Students in the National Honor Society will wear a gold cord.

Seniors will report to the WHS library at 11 a.m. the day of the ceremony for final instructions before loading buses to the arena.

Seating for friends and family for the ceremony is on a first come, first serve basis with doors at the arena opening at noon.

Baccalaureate will be held Friday, May 31 at 6 p.m. at the Whitefish Assembly of God Church on Karrow Avenue.

Whitefish Independent High School will hold its graduation ceremony Thursday, May 30 at 1 p.m. at the Hope Outdoor Classroom at Muldown Elementary. Ten students will be graduating from WIHS.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be at the Whitefish Performing Art Center at the middle school. A reception will follow at WIHS.
