Pathways Community Development Corporation, a Plummer-based nonprofit, is pleased to announce the coming of new credit union services to the area.

The National Credit Union Administration recently approved a field of membership expansion for Latah Federal Credit Union to include all of Benewah County and the portion of southern Kootenai County which lies within the Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation. Latah Federal Credit Union plans to open a branch in Plummer.

Members of the Pathways board of directors have worked with LFCU for over a year during the application process. LFCU is a strong institution that will provide important financial resources to the residents of Benewah County and the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. Residents are qualified now to become members, open accounts, and apply for loans at LFCU's current locations in Potlatch and Moscow.
