Popular Palm Springs musician Steve Denny will appear live at Splash Lounge in downtown Coeur d'Alene this summer.

Denny, a vocalist and piano/keyboard player, entertains at some of the finer Palm Desert venues, including Las Casuelas and Desert Sage, as well as the prestigious Hideway Golf Club and Madison Golf Club.

He will begin performing tonight and throughout the summer at Splash, Tuesdays through Sundays from 5-8 p.m.

"We're very excited to have Mr. Denny onstage at Splash all summer long," said Jerry Jaeger, president and co-owner of Hagadone Hospitality. "He has a terrific voice and a great way of playing to the crowd. Splash is very popular with the younger crowd late-night and Steve will thrill a little older crowd in the early evening."

Denny plays everything from Baccarat, Buffet and Sinatra through The Offspring, Devo and The Doors, and tailors his playlist to fit the audience.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of California, San Diego. Fans can hear his work on "Drinking from the Sun," the 2012 double-platinum album from the Hilltop Hoods.

"Mr. Jaeger asked me personally if I would come up and play, and it looks like the most beautiful place in the entire Northwest," Denny says. "I can't wait to see Coeur d'Alene and meet the people."

Splash is located at 210 E. Sherman Ave. in The Resort Plaza Shops, and offers outdoor/indoor dining, street-side ambiance, dancing, sports action and a full drinks and food menu.
