'Lend Me a Tenor' at Lake City Playhouse

"A world famous tenor, a bellhop, a jealous wife, tranquilizers, lingerie and mistaken identities all contribute to the chaos of this fast-paced belly buster. Who will take the stage and sing when the lights come up? This madcap comedy will have you gasping for breath!" That's the way Ken Ludwig's play, "Lend Me a Tenor," is described on the Lake City Playhouse website, www.lakecityplayhouse.org.
The nonprofit community theater group's production of the show continues tonight, Saturday, and Thursday, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Performances will continue Nov. 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m., and 2 p.m. Nov. 10.
