Ex takes out anger on windshield

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report at about 3 a.m. Monday from a woman on Klondyke Loop Road in the Somers area who said that her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend had smashed a vehicle windshield with a gun that was broken in half and left lying next to the vehicle. The suspect was later located on School Addition Road and arrested for criminal mischief.

On Sunday, a Woodland Park Drive resident reported finding a bullet hole in the windshield of a vehicle.

There was a report two brothers getting into a fight, possibly over drugs, at an Antelope Trail residence in the Whitefish area. One of the brothers ended up getting arrested.

There was a report of tires being slashed on a vehicle at a church on Montana 35 in Evergreen.

A woman reportedly was causing a disturbance at a South Cedar Drive residence where she smashed a window.

A man calling from Bison Drive reported that his son’s girlfriend attempted to hit him with her car, and succeeded striking him with a car door.

A man calling from U.S. 2 west of Columbia Falls said he had about five men outside his apartment, threatening him.

A man calling from Cayuse Lane said he had been assaulted by some 16-year-olds.

 

Kalispell Police got a call from a bar on U.S. 93 South Sunday about a man who kept screaming that he is “God Almighty.” The man, who was apparently served only one beer, was advised to move along.

Soon after, at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, a man with a similar description was in front of a business several blocks away on First Avenue East, screaming at people and scaring customers.

And at about 1 a.m., there was a report of man screaming that he is Jesus Christ at a hotel on East Idaho Street. The man didn’t have any identification, so a hotel clerk refused to rent him a room.

A man was trapped in a car by vicious pit bull on Eighth Street West. The man couldn’t get out of the vehicle for about 10 minutes, when the dog finally left.

There was a report of a fence being damaged by a vehicle on Ninth Avenue East North.

Someone calling from a location on Airport Road reported that a battery had been stolen from an excavator some time over the last couple of weeks.

There was a report of tools stolen from the back of a pickup truck on Fourth Avenue East North some time over the last week.

 

A bartender at a Central Avenue bar called Whitefish Police Sunday to get rid of an unwanted man who called police earlier to complain about getting kicked out of a poker game. The unwanted man later returned, caused problems and was escorted out by an officer.

A man called from Central Avenue to report that he thought his vehicle had been stolen. It turned out he had forgotten where he’d parked it.

 

Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday night regarding a suspicious man getting out of a vehicle and going from yard to yard checking vehicles in the Columbia Mountain Court area. The man could not be located.
