Are all hearing aids the same? Absolutely not!

Hearing aids have a wide range of technologies, effectiveness and cost. They must be carefully selected by a licensed professional in order to maximize each individual's communication needs, based on a current comprehensive hearing test as well as considering their lifestyle needs.

Hearing aids are designed with a computer microchip to analyze the input of sounds (soft sounds, medium sounds, loud sounds, impact noise, music, speech, etc.), then they process these sounds to provide the best speech signal for better hearing and improved understanding.

The ability to process speech in challenging listening environments is highly dependent on the sophistication of the computer chip, and how the specialist programs to your needs and comfort. The consumer must be very careful who they choose as their specialist. Make sure they have the credentials required to do the best job for you.

Happy Hearing!
