Bayley, a sophomore from Lakeland High in Rathdrum, shot a two-day total of 165 to finish tied for 13th in the Northwest Conference Fall Classic, which concluded Oct. 27 at Stone Creek Golf Club in Oregon City, Ore. Whitworth finished fourth out of nine teams in the tournament.

Legel, a 5-foot-5 sophomore guard from Coeur d'Alene High, was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 20-26, scoring 21 points to go with six rebounds, 10 assists and seven steals in the Argos' 80-69 win against the University of Lethbridge on Oct. 25 in Great Falls. Last Saturday, Legel scored 20 in the Argos' 84-76 loss to Eastern Oregon in the Frontier/Cascade Red Lion Challenge in Spokane.

Magnuson, a junior who attended Gonzaga Prep in Spokane, but lived in Coeur d'Alene and swam on the Lake City High team, won the 50-meter and 100 freestyle, and 100 backstroke at the Malibu Invitational on Oct. 26. She won the backstroke in 1 minute, 0.36 seconds and the freestyle in 52.74 seconds.
