C-Falls defeats Frenchtown in NW A divisional volleyball semis

POLSON — Columbia Falls knocked off regular-season champion Frenchtown 25-22, 25-21, 25-15 Friday night in the semifinal round of the Northwestern A divisional volleyball tournament.
Frenchtown had not lost a league match during the regular season, while Columbia Falls had dropped two, both to Frenchtown.
Columbia Falls moves to championship match today and clinched a spot in the state tournament Nov. 14-16 in Bozeman.
Haley Belgarde had 10 of Columbia Falls’ 35 kills versus Frenchtown. Winter Kemppainen had 12 of the Wildkats’ 48 digs. She also had a team high four blocks.
Aces favored Columbia Falls 9-3 with Cydney Finberg totaling five.
