Cabinet View district forum is set for today
Alan Lewis Gerstenecker | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 12 years AGO
Members of a committee hoping to restore a fire agency within the Cabinet View area will be available at 11 a.m. today at the Ponderosa Room at City Hall for the purpose of establishing a fire district.
Last month, the group presented a petition with 171 signatures hoping to establish a fire district within much of the Cabinet View Fire Service Area. The group consists of Chairman John Rios and board members Patty Rambo, Mike Agresta and John Fredin, residents of the proposed district.
On Nov. 7, the panel made it known they received notification from County Administrator Bill Bischoff confirming all but five of the 171 signatures as valid.
The meeting today is to answer questions residents within the area may have about establishing the district.
