Great Falls basketball

Legel, a 5-foot-5 sophomore guard from Coeur d'Alene High, earned Frontier Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 5 after leading the Argos in a 91-71 win against Corban University and an 84-76 loss to Eastern Oregon in Spokane, averaging 21.5 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals per game.

Sacramento State basketball

Gennett, a freshman from Post Falls High, scored 26 points on 9-of-12 shooting and 8 of 9 from beyond the 3-point line in the Hornets' 92-71 season opening win against Cal State-Northridge last Friday in Sacramento. The eight 3-pointers was one off the school and league record.

Katelyn Loper

Oregon basketball

Loper, a redshirt junior from Post Falls High, who transferred from Hofstra, hit a school record-tying nine 3-pointers and finished with 29 points in the Ducks' season-opening win against Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday in Eugene.

Jalana White

Whitworth volleyball

White, a senior from Post Falls, picked up her second All-Northwest Conference honor this season, being selected to the first team this year after being selected to the second team as a junior in 2012. She led the conference with 428 kills this season had her 3.82 kills per set average ranked second. She was 35th among Division III players for her kills per set average and her 4.22 points per set was 53rd among Division III players. White finished the season with 473 points and was tied for third on the team with 19 aces this season and fourth on the team in digs (282) and blocks (42).

Caelyn Orlandi

Lewis-Clark State basketball

Orlandi, a freshman from Coeur d'Alene High, led the Warriors with 17 points in the team's 76-68 loss to Boise State on Monday night at Taco Bell Arena in Boise. Orlandi hit 3 of 8 on 3-point attempts in the game.
