Bigfork speech, debate and drama capture first places

Bigfork High School speech, debate and drama won first places in speech and drama Nov. 2 at a Columbia Falls High School meet.

Bigfork placed third overall out of all schools, including Class A and Class AA schools attending. “That was pretty good for the second meet of the year,” Bigfork coach Charlie Appleby said. “We had some brand new kids this week and they got a great taste of competition. Several even made finals. The start of the year has gone extremely well, and we look forward to five new members starting in November.”

Bigfork competes in a meet Nov. 22-23 against Class AA and Class A schools in Kalispell.
