“Bridegroom,” an award-winning documentary about the poignant personal story of Kalispell native Shane Bitney Crone, will be shown at Flathead Valley Community College on Monday, Nov. 25.

The film will show at 4 and 7 p.m. in the FVCC Arts and Technology Building, room 139. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are sold out, but there is seating still available for the 4 p.m. show.

Tickets can be purchased online on the Kalispell Education Foundation’s website, http://kalispelleducationfoundation.org/tickets/.

The film is rated R, so students under the age of 17 will need to print out and bring a signed parent permission form.

The foundation is sponsoring the event.

Crone is traveling from Los Angeles to Kalispell to attend the shows. He’ll conduct question-and-answer sessions after each screening, and a red carpet reception is planned following the later show.

The documentary tells the emotional story of Crone, 27, and his partner, Tom Bridegroom, who died two years ago when he accidentally stepped off the roof of a four-story building during a photo shoot.
