CASPER, Wyo. - Renae Mokrzycki scored 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds Thursday, helping North Idaho College in a 65-54 win over Northeastern Junior College of Sterling, Colo. at Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gym, in the opener for the Cardinals at the Casper Invitational.

NIC outscored the Plainsmen 37-29 in the second half.

Panisesi Taimani finished with 13 points and seven rebounds for NIC. Jansen Butler added 10 points and five rebounds.

Meg Pritchard led Northeastern with 14 points.

North Idaho College plays at 6:30 p.m. tonight against Casper College at the Casper Invitational.
