New directors, CFO for RockStar Resources

COEUR d'ALENE - RockStar Resources Inc. announced last week that Elizabeth M. Druffel has been named the company's new chief financial officer and that Roger Kauffmann and James R. Ayers have been appointed to the RockStar board of directors.

"Beth Druffel brings to the executive group the mining financing and accounting expertise needed to take the company to its next level of growth, and Roger Kauffmann and Jim Ayers are two of the most respected mining and environmental professionals in the business, who will be key advisors to RockStar as directors as the company continues to identify and advance precious metals properties in North America and elsewhere."
Druffel brings more than 13 years of financing and accounting experience to RockStar, having served most recently as treasurer and chief accountant of Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp., with extensive experience in analysis of financial statements and business transactions and overseeing a team of 50 accounting and finance employees globally. She also was previously employed as an audit senior manager with KPMG LLP and is a certified public accountant.
Kauffmann is a mining engineer and former president and chief operating officer of AMAX Gold, Inc.
He was also formerly executive vice president and chief operating officer of Hecla Mining Co., responsible for five metals mines and 10 industrial mineral operating locations.
Kauffmann led the construction of three metals mines in Chile, Russia and Alaska. His business development experience also includes extensive work in Venezuela.
Ayers is president of Alaska Strategies, a private conservation firm providing management services including strategic planning for local governments, businesses and national nonprofits regarding public policy, legislation and media.
He was formerly vice president and senior advisor for Oceana, Inc.; chief of staff to the governor of Alaska; executive director of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council; and director of Alaska Marine Highway System and of legislative relations for the Alaska governor's office.
RockStar Resources Inc. is a newly-formed and privately held company aligning investors with a premier mining management team to bring exponential value to advanced gold and/or silver exploration projects. The company is incorporated in Idaho and headquartered in Coeur d'Alene.
