Reader clears up veteran name confusion

I would like to express my appreciation for the pages of veterans pictures that are published yearly. It is a nice way to honor those who served in the military, often at great risk to themselves. I hope this is a feature of your newspaper that will continue far into the future.

I would like to publicly apologize to your readers, and to Robert Gibler for submitting his picture without attaching a name to it. When I dropped it off at the front desk, I though I had all the information written on the back of the picture, and I did. Everything was there but his name. Next time I will be more careful.

I appreciate the picture being included without his name. I know he is proud of his service to our country, and I hope everyone who saw his picture will know now who he is and what he did for all of us.
