FWP seeks comments on fishing derby schedule

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking comments on fishing contests proposed for next year’s open water season.
Derby participants must comply with state fishing regulations, including daily and possession limits. Most contests require catch-and-release fishing.
Applications for contests may be approved, denied or approved with conditions. Conditions placed on contests may help to minimize fish mortality, regulate harvest, reduce user conflicts or require additional access site maintenance when needed.

May 21-23, BASS Nation Western Divisional, Noxon Rapids Reservoir
June 6-8, ABA West, Noxon Rapids Reservoir
June 7-8, Mister Pike Classic, Seeley Lake and Salmon Lake
June 14-15, Fathers’ Day Family Fishing Festival, Thompson Chain of Lakes
July 19-20, Inland Empire Bass Club Tournament, Noxon Rapids Reservoir
