FLINT, MI. - The Wenatchee Wild outscored the Michigan Warriors 9-3 in two games to secure a sweep on the road recently.

The two wins improved Wenatchee's record to 11-10-2.

On Friday, the Wild grabbed the lead early with two goals in the first period. Parker Tuomie scored first on a power play using an assist by Trey Bradley. Matthew Nuttle added the second goal as he backhanded a pass off the left wing from Chris Koukis past Michigan's goaltender.

Wenatchee added three more goals by Nick Rivera, Troy Loggins and Nuttle to cruise to a 5-1 win.

"I thought we played well," head coach Bliss Littler said. "They were very physical with us again; we did a good job at winning some races and getting pucks to the net."

Wenatchee concluded its road trip Saturday, defeating the Warriors 4-2. Bradley struck first for the Wild in the first period after tipping a shot over the right shoulder of the Michigan goaltender.

Joseph Kaszupski and Loggins added two goals in the second period, stretching Wenatchee's lead to 3-1.

Loggins scored his second goal of the night on an extended power play after a Michigan player drew a five-minute major penalty.

"Good win for us," Littler said. "We battled through some injuries, some adversity tonight, overall it was kind of a gritty win for us."

The Wild return home for four games against Johnston on Nov. 30 as well as Dec. 1, 6 and 7.
