CROW AGENCY — Salish Kootenai College’s women’s basketball team went 1-1 over the weekend in the Little Big Horn Classic. The Lady Bison fell to Little Big Horn College’s Lady Ramz, 82-73, on Friday evening before rebounding to throttle Chief Dull Knife College the following morning by a count of 92-43.

Latydia Holiday notched team highs in points (18) and rebounds (7) for the Lady Bison in Friday’s loss. Eva Green (15 points), Caitlin Charlebois (11) and Chantel Jenkins (10) also scored in double-digits for the Lady Bison.

Holiday again led the charge in Saturday’s blowout victory, falling a rebound short of a double-double with 20 points and nine boards.

She was 7-for-8 from the field, and the Lady Bison shot 48 percent (36 of 75) from the field as a team.

Jenkins tacked on 21 points, and Charlebois added 12. Darisa Swank had seven points and seven assists in the win.

The Lady Bison make their home debut tomorrow at 6 p.m. against Miles City College. The men’s game will follow immediately after.

The Bison are again in action on Sunday afternoon when they will face the University of Great Falls JV squads.
