Elsie 'Ginga' Gage Dagruel, 84

Elsie Marion Gage Dagruel, 84, of Post Falls, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 29, 2013, at Hospice of North Idaho Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene.
She was born in Lee, Mass., April 16, 1929, to Sylvester and Lucille (Cordonier) Gage. She grew up in Lee with her brothers: Leon, Vernon, Harold, Ralph, Everett, Elmer, Fredrick, and sisters: Eva, Evelyn, all of whom have predeceased her, except her sister, Eleanor.
She attended local schools and graduated from Lee High School in 1949; they were called the ’49er’s. According to her classmates, she was called the “spunky girl.”
She married John Dagruel in 1951; they lived in Housatonic, Mass. God gifted her with five children, whom she raised.
She is survived by her five children: Nancy Cronin of Post Falls, Ann Martin of Alford, Mass., Robert Dagruel of Moreno Valley, Calif., and her twins, Michael Dagruel of Sheffield, Mass., and Mary Forfa of Stockbridge, Mass.; also her sons-in-law: Stephen Cronin, Bruce Martin, Joseph Forfa, and her daughter-in-law, Terri Wells Dagruel. She also leaves nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her church families at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls and Hope Church in Lenox, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of North Idaho Hospice House, 2290 West Prairie Ave., Coeur d’Alene.
A Memorial service will be held for Elsie at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls. She will return to Lee for burial and a memorial service.
