800 pounds of pumpkin

An 800-pound pumpkin was delivered to Fritz Corn Maze north of Kalispell on Wednesday. The pumpkin was grown by Kyle Koschmeder of Shelby, who set a new state record this year with another pumpkin that weighed in at 1,168 pounds. The maze is located on Birch Grove Road east of U.S. 2. It is open Fridays from 3 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry costs $5 for all people age 5 and older.
