Fall hours have begun at Camas Creek Yarn, and with the new schedule, the store is offering several classes for knitters, crocheters and felters.

The store is located at 338 Main St., Kalispell. For further information, call 755-9276 or visit www.camascreekyarn.com.

Camas Creek offers free assisted knitting and crocheting classes every week. Knit Bits and Hook It! are available to anyone who purchases supplies at the yarn store.

Knit Bits classes run from noon to 1 p.m. three times a week. Level one classes, with projects such as dishcloths and scarves, are offered on Mondays. Level two classes, such as cowls and blankets, are on Tuesdays. Level three classes, including fingerless gloves and boot toppers, take place on Thursdays.

Hook It! classes are from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. Level one classes include projects such as granny squares; level two classes teach projects like scalloped-edge bracelets.

Free beginning knitting and crocheting will be offered at the yarn store on Saturdays. Like the Knit Bits and Hook It! classes, the sessions are free with purchase of supplies.

Free beginning knitting is offered from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and free beginning crocheting takes place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Camas Creek also offers free yarn bombing from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Knitters and crocheters will work together to create nondestructive yarn-bombing projects throughout the community. All skill levels are welcome.

Free weekly group meetings are offered twice a week. Open adult knitting, for those 19 and older, takes place from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Thursdays. Open teen after-school knitting, for youths ages 13 to 18, is offered from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
