Why is an entire month dedicated to one health profession, you may ask? This is because physical therapy is known to have improved the life for people of all ages. It's a treatment provided by trained professionals that can be used to improve or prevent a variety of injuries and ailments.
The goal of physical therapy is to help improve your quality of life. This is done by eliminating pain and enhancing your mobility. Physical therapy can help with a variety of conditions, such as back, shoulder, hip, neck, foot and ankle pain, headaches, poor balance and dizziness, orthopedic injuries or recovery, and a variety of other ailments.
Physical therapy is often thought of for recovery from injuries or orthopedic surgery. While this is true, it only touches the surface of what physical therapy can do to help you. Physical therapy has helped thousands of people suffering from back and neck pain. This is something a lot of people have trouble with, but it does not mean that they just have to live with it.
Physical therapy is not just a treatment option for adults, but instead is used to treat conditions suffered by infants and the elderly as well. Physical therapy can treat everything from torticollis to total joint replacement, as well as preparation and recovery for surgery.
If you are looking for an evidence-based, cost-effective, conservative approach to health care, then a physical therapist may be right for you. At Pinnacle Physical Therapy, we offer physical therapy experts with years of experience and knowledge to help you evaluate your situation and work with you to develop a program of care that best fits your unique condition.
Trying new health-care options can often be a little unnerving; we don't want you to feel that way about physical therapy. Call us to schedule a NO OBLIGATION consultation. Post Falls (208) 777-4242 or Coeur d'Alene (208) 665-2000.
