Suspect in vehicle

Coeur d’Alene Police Detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect who burglarized two vehicles on September 28. One of the vehicles was parked in the Paddy’s parking lot at 601 W. Appleway. That vehicle had the passenger window smashed out, and a cell phone and clothing were stolen. Video surveillance provided by the business put the time of the burglary at 9:22 p.m.

The second burglary occurred sometime between 10 and 11p.m. at 1920 E. Sherman Ave. at the Hogfish Bar. That vehicle had the driver’s side window smashed out, and Carhartt jackets and sunglasses were stolen. Video surveillance provided by both businesses showed a suspect and the vehicle the suspect was driving.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30, with a light beard and possibly short brown hair, wearing a baseball cap and a hooded sweatshirt.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a four-door Dodge 4x4 truck, white, with a short box, and tinted windows. The bumper was an add-on type of push bumper. The bed of the truck was covered by a tarp.

Anyone with any information on these crimes is asked to call the Coeur d’Alene Police Department at 769-2320.
