Wrestling World Championship

trainer to speak to NIC boosters

COEUR d'ALENE - North Idaho College head athletic trainer Randy Boswell will be the main speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club's luncheon at noon Tuesday at the Coeur d'Alene Outback Steakhouse.

Boswell recently returned from the World Championships of Wrestling in Budapest, Hungary, where he assisted the USA Wrestling team as a trainer. The World Championships is the most prestigious wrestling tournament in the world next to the Olympics. During the tournament, Jordan Burroughs captured his second world title to go with an Olympic gold medal. Boswell is expected to share some of stories and adventures of being selected to work this event.

Updates from NIC coaches are always on the agenda, and the public is welcome to attend. The cost of lunch is not covered.
