ST. IGNATIUS — Florence’s previously winless record must seem an apparition to Mission’s football team  following a 25-0 defeat.

The Falcons’ defensive front completely shut down Mission’s offensive attack that had found some life over the past few weeks, holding leading rusher Raymond Matt to just 49 yards and quarterback Nick Durglo to a measly 44 passing yards.

Mission was plagued by five turnovers—three interceptions and two lost fumbles—as well.

The Bulldogs did get a few strong defensive efforts, led by Matt’s 15 tackles on the night.
