Chisholm shoots 201 at state golf

Columbia Falls High School golfer Henry Chisholm shot 109 the first day and 92 the next for a combined score of 201 at the state Class A golf tournament in Polson on Oct. 4-5.

Chisholm was the lone Wildcat golfer to qualify for the tournament.

His score placed him third from last. Top golfer was Jackson Wagner, of Anaconda, who shot a combined score of 146 to beat Whitefish’s Arthur Doorn by a stroke.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
