One claimed in semi crash near ML

MOSES LAKE - One person died Monday afternoon in a collision involving two semi-trucks at the intersection of Roads O and 2 Southeast near Moses Lake.
The name, age and gender of the victim were not released before deadline Monday night.
Emergency personnel responded about 4 p.m. to the intersection for a collision first believed to be a semi-truck and car collision, according to the sheriff's office.
When on scene, a potato semi-truck and another semi-trailer had overturned in the intersection. The truck from the trailer was parked about 100 yards down from the intersection on Road O.
Potatoes had covered the road as the truck had flipped on its top.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. The other driver was reportedly uninjured.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office Motor Traffic Unit is still investigating the incident.
