ROYAL CITY - There will be a big rivalry football game at Royal High School Friday night with visiting Wahluke. It should be a good one between 3-2 Royal and the 4-1 Warriors.

The Royal Parent Teacher Organization is hoping folks from both communities will be in a festive mood before the game. The RPTO will be serving a plate of carne asada with all the fixin's.

The dinner will cost $7 per plate of $25 per family (immediate only). It will include servings of corn tortillas, rice, refried beans and water. Proceeds go to the support of school programs and projects.

Carne asada is thinly sliced beef cooked on a grill.

"We want to make sure that Wahluke fans know they are invited to come and join us for a delicious dinner," the RPTO's Polly Carlson said.

The dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. and will be served until 8 p.m. or until the RPTO runs out of food. The game will start at 7 p.m.

The Royal Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sponsors activities and projects that benefit all of the schools in Royal School District.
