Lynnette Ruth DeAbreu, passed peacefully at Life Center in Post Falls, ID on October 6th, 2013. She was born July 15, 1935 in Ridgefield, Washington to Lindley and Roberta Hull and was one of three children. She married Frank X. DeAbreu on March 7th, 1954 and enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Lynne grew up in southwestern Washington State with her brother Jerry and adopted brother Jim. She met Frank in Tucson, AZ in 1953 and built their marriage through time spent together in Omaha NE, Medical Lake WA, Dayton, WA and Onalaska, WA. In addition to being a loving mother of three children, Lynne enjoyed sewing outfits to model in mother/daughter fashion shows and playing the organ at church. While in Dayton, she worked in the school system, teaching English to migrant children and also regularly volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul. Lynne was a kind, generous and intelligent person who loved being with people and sharing stories and conversation. She was an accomplished artist who spent countless hours with a paintbrush in her hand, creating wonderful images of her family members. She had a genuine love for the ocean which was a continual inspiration for her artistic work that was often found in her home and the homes of her family members. Lynne and Frank shared many wonderful memories traveling the world, enjoying cruises to the Caribbean and summers camping near the beach. They also touched the lives of many while acting as annual camp-site hosts at Fort Stevens, OR and Long Beach, WA. Simply being near the ocean seemed to fill Lynne with happiness and joy. Lynne is survived by her husband Frank, sons Frank, wife Cassie, and Allan, wife Suzanne, and daughter Angel, husband Brian. She also shared many memories in the company of her six grandchildren – Brandon, Samantha, Frank Jr., Allan, Ashley and Taylor.
