Workers prepare to transfer an 85 foot 85 feet long, 94,000 pound concrete beam from a tractor trailer to a crane on Thursday, October 10, in Evergreen. As the beam was moved across the river was transferred from one crane, to another before being set to form the deck of the new Shady Lane Bridge. Six beams were placed on Thursday.
