A Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a Browns Road home after a man reported his neighbor — for whom law enforcement had a caution for aggressive behavior — shot at the ground directly in front of him on Wednesday morning.
An employee of a Whitefish Stage Road construction business reported an internal theft of between $7,000 and $8,000.
An upset mother reported that an Olney bar on U.S. 93 North had served her 18-year-old daughter alcohol several times, and that her daughter was talking about going back that night. A deputy spoke with the bar’s owner, who agreed to speak with all the employees to ensure there was no underage service.
A U.S. 2 East woman got an unhappy surprise when she returned home and found someone had broken her front window and messed up her blinds. She reported, however, that nothing was messed up inside and that she believed it was just criminal mischief, not a burglary.
A disoriented elderly woman was located and given a medical transport after a Bigfork man on Lake Hills Court reported someone was banging on his door but not responding when he yelled at them.
A man called the sheriff’s office after getting a call from his bank telling him his debit card number had been used at approximately 30 different locations in the area, including a liquor store, a fast-food restaurant, a tire store, a department store, a chainsaw store and a health department.
