At Hamilton, Polson’s girls won the Hamilton Invitational behind top-10 finishes from Claudia Hewston (third), Isabella Seemann (eighth) and Tegan Bauer (ninth).

The Pirate girls edged Corvallis by six points to take the trophy.

Polson’s boys finished third behind Tel Motichka’s 17:33 run, good enough for 11th place.

At Thompson Falls, Arlee’s Donovan McDonald posted the top local time at 17:04. He finished 11th, leading the Warriors to a sixth-place finish as the only Class C school at the meet. Ronan’s boys finished seventh, led by Jackson Duffey.

Dalton Delaney of Charlo (18:23, 24th) also posted a strong finish.

The Ronan girls finished fourth out of seven teams. The Maidens’ Kiana Howell’s 21:21 was good enough for 12th. Ronan’s Jade Gray (21:58) finished 19th, and Arlee’s Jess Knoll (22:18) and Amelia North (22:22) finished 22nd and 23rd.
